Tomorrow is the 3-week mark of the mastectomy. This last week I’m starting to feel more like myself. Not a lot of pain (just constant discomfort). Rafa left on Friday, unfortunately and I already miss him. It was great to have him here for almost 3 weeks.

Amanhã faz 3 semanas da mastectomia. Essa última semana eu já comecei a me sentir melhor, com mais energia. Não estou mais sentindo tanta dor (é mais como um incômodo constante). Rafa infelizmente, voltou pro Brasil essa sexta… saudades.

Today I received the “Breast Recurrence Score Report” that gives me a grade from 1 to 100 (the lower the better) on how likely the cancer is to recur and I received a 5 (yay!). My chances to recurrence with endocrine treatment only are at 3%! The report also confirmed that chemotherapy would be of no benefit! This is truly the best possible result! The medical oncologist will be look over this report on June 10th with us.

Hoje eu recebi um relatório que calcula a chance de recorrência do tumor. Eles dão uma nota de 0 a 100 (quanto menor, melhor) e a minha foi 5!!! A chance de recorrência com tratamento de supressão hormonal é de só 3%! O relatório também mostrou que eu não teria nenhum beneficio adicional se fizer quimioterapia! Sinceramente, não poderia ter sido um resultado melhor!! Dia 10 de junho a oncologista vai avaliar esse relatório pra determinar o tratamento.

Tomorrow I’m going to see the plastic surgeon to continue the reconstruction process. I’ll post again an update tomorrow.
