More good news: Both drains are OUT! Everything is looking great and healing well! Last night I had one of the best nights in a very long time AND I got to shower today! I’m finally feeling like I’m making progress!!!

Mais notícias boas: os drenos foram retirados hoje. Está tudo sarando muito bem e rápido. Ontem eu consegui dormir muito bem e hoje eu pude tomar banho!! Finalmente as coisas parecem estar melhorando devagarinho!

My follow-up with the surgeon (the one who did the mastectomy) is on Thursday and I’ll see the plastic surgeon on June 3rd to start the “filling” of the tissue expander. I also scheduled a consult with Medical Oncology for June 10th to talk about next steps/treatment options.

Quinta-feira faço o pós-operatório com a cirurgiã que fez a mastectomia e dia 3 de junho com o cirurgião plástico. Dia 3 a gente começa o “preenchimento” pra decidir o tamanho do implante. Hoje também marquei uma consulta com o oncologista pro dia 10 de junho pra decidir que tratamento preciso fazer depois dessa cirurgia.
